Deborah is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She has over 40 years accounting experience working for small companies, where her accounting responsibilities included GL accounts and bank reconciliations, A/P, A/R, deposits, payroll, credit card reconciliations, financial statements, budgets, multiple state sales tax returns, property tax listing, and assisting with year-end audits. Before moving to Charlotte from Avery County, Deborah worked with her family business and a local country club.
In her free time, Deborah enjoys gardening, hiking, cooking, and spending time/traveling with her daughter. She also enjoys volunteering at Operation Christmas Child, her church, and Union County Master Gardeners.
